Safiyya Ahmed is an experienced school leader and former deputy head teacher. She works as an educational consultant and writer. She has specialised in SEND, Equality, Inclusion and Race Relations and has worked for several charities to raise awareness, train and educate teachers and parents as well as other organisations in these areas. Her teaching skills as well as behaviour management skills have been judged to be ‘outstanding’ on a number of occasions by Ofsted. Her work has taken her abroad where she has assisted and delivered training to mainstream and special schools to cultivate good practise in all areas of school life and learning. Her quest to raise awareness in the area of equality and inclusion have led her to do much work on radio and within the wider community.
