Meg has been teaching since 1988 in the Primary and Secondary sectors. She combines teaching and SMSC leadership in a school with leading The Linking Network to develop resources, programmes and training for teachers and school leaders.
The Linking Network supports schools to develop a positive, cohesive ethos by helping children, young people and adults to explore identity, celebrate diversity, champion equality and promote community. In order to do this TLN offers resources, training on leading SMSC including British values, programmes in schools and supports 20 local schools linking programmes across the country.
Meg believes that when schools promote SMSC they can find creative ways to promote a sense of belonging for all and support pupils to relate well to others that contributes to a society where we seek to live together well.Back
