Verification Team

Yvonne has worked in the field of formal and non-formal education for over 25 years, during which time she worked as a primary school teacher in Camden, a secondary school teacher in Tanzania, a supply teacher in Sussex and an in-service teacher trainer in Namibia. Yvonne then moved from formal education to non-formal education and led the development and quality assurance of UK Youth’s suite of awards and qualifications for young people across the UK. Before coming to the Citizenship Foundation she managed the training department of the charity Kidscape, focusing on teacher and pupil training in safeguarding and anti-bullying. Yvonne has a degree in Developmental Psychology, a Masters in International Education and has an award in Understanding the Practice and Principles of Assessment.
