The SMSC Quality Mark
The SMSC Quality Mark has been developed by a working group comprised of educational consultants, headteachers and teachers, as well as staff from Young Citizens.
It has been adopted by a range of schools who found the experience very useful.

We work to ensure that children and young people are able to make a positive difference to the society in which they live – locally, nationally and globally.
We do this by helping them develop knowledge, skills and confidence. It’s good for them, and essential for strengthening and safeguarding our society and democratic way of life.
